Object Manager

Configuration software for installers. Object Manager allows easy connection, configuration, and updating of all Grenton modules:

 

  • CLU (Central Logic Unit) – stores the configuration, allows communication with the cloud and other modules,
  • IOM (Input Output Module) – other modules performing input/output functions (e.g., relays, switches, sensors).

 

The software is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux (support for Ubuntu distribution).

CLU Discovery

The CLU Discovery function automatically finds all CLU units and the IOM modules connected to them. It facilitates easy location of modules in a new project, adding new ones, and replacing modules with others.

 

You use the CLU Discovery function when:

 

  • you start the installation and configuration of a new project,
  • you have connected a new CLU or IOM module to the system,
  • you have replaced a CLU or IOM module with another,
  • you have updated the software of a CLU or IOM module.

Script Builder

Script Builder is a tool for creating scripts – algorithms operating in an automated, modern home. It can operate in two modes:

 

  • graphic (basic) – you can easily create a scheme by dragging and connecting elements. The graphic mode enables easy creation of extensive scripts consisting of many conditions and methods. It’s also possible to use variables and parameters.
  • textual (advanced) – you have the possibility of creating logic using the extended LUA language. This allows for the creation of very advanced scripts.

myGrenton Builder

Object Manager provides an intuitive tool for creating user interfaces for mobile devices. The process is very simple and quick, based on using the function to drag&drop elements available in a given project.

 

All you have to do is choose a template, elements, and configure the app’s functionalities in Object Manager, and then easily provide the ready interface in the mobile application using a QR code. You can create any number of personalized interfaces for a given project.

 

During the first launch, the myGrenton application allows users to familiarize themselves with the application interface, widget possibilities, and key functionalities without connecting to the real Grenton system – using the demo interface.

Connection Diagram

Configuration of an automated home consists of hundreds of dependencies and links between objects. Instead of dozens of tables and windows, use the Connection Diagram available in the Object Manager application. It’s a simple way to display a complex system.

 

This is a revolutionary way of visualizing the system configuration. One glance is enough to solve a problem or make a modification. Navigating between objects has never been so quick.

Virtual Objects

Virtual objects allow for faster and simpler building of repetitive system functions. You get a ready, convenient tool that saves you time working on system configuration.

 

Schedule

Allows setting the value of any feature on a weekly schedule. You can set them using a graphical interface for each day and each hour with a resolution of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or hourly.

Event Scheduler

Used to trigger a given event for a specific time and day of the week. It facilitates convenient home event configuration.

HTTP Listener

Used to receive HTTP requests (GET, POST type). The sent response can be serialized to one of the standard types including JSON, XML.

HTTP Request

Used to send HTTP requests (GET, POST type) to a specified host. It supports standard content types, e.g., JSON, XML.

 

HTTP Request is used, among others, by the OpenWeatherMap weather service.

Jablotron Section

Allows you to create an alarm zone with access after entering a user’s password or the administrator’s password.

Calendar

Calendars are virtual objects created within a given CLU. You can create up to 64 calendars – one calendar is one rule executed on a specific day and time or generated cyclically on selected days, months, or hours (with accuracy to one minute).

PID

Allows you to maintain the desired output value at a constant level depending on the input value. The most popular use of the PID controller is temperature regulation based on sensor information.

Presence Sensor

The presence sensor (PresenceSensor) is a virtual object created within a given CLU. You can use it wherever you need to invoke a method after a specified time or count the time since the last call (e.g., after motion detection).

Push

Push notifications are virtual objects that you can create in the CLU. They allow sending notifications to a device that has the myGrenton application installed.

Satel Zone

Allows you to create an alarm zone, which can be accessed after entering a user’s password or the administrator’s password alone.

Sunrise Sunset

A virtual object created within a given CLU. You can use it when you want to configure specific actions depending on the time of day (sunrise/sunset).

Thermostat

A virtual object used to create a heating or cooling control configuration. It matches the temperature value to the given sensor and the entered heating or cooling schedule. You set the temperature values using a graphical interface for each day and hour with a resolution of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or hourly.

Timer

Timers are virtual objects created within a given CLU. You can use them wherever an event needs to be called after a specified time or its cyclical invocation. The timer itself is also an object in the Object Manager and has its features, methods, events, and initial values.
